The Japanese startup ecosystem is currently at a turning point. To address the diverse challenges ahead, it is becoming increasingly essential for startup founders, CxOs, corporate intrapreneurs, VCs, and CVCs to unite and work together more closely.

“SWISH! Startup Camp” aims to provide such a place for “Closing Distance,” where entrepreneurs, leaders, and peers can gather at a campsite to speak openly, share candid perspectives, and strengthen mutual bonds. ■SWISH! Startup Camp" offers three values

1. Connecting with 31 VC and CVC partners "to obtain funding opportunities"
   We will provide an opportunity to meet with leaders from 31 leading domestic VCs and CVCs participating as partners. Set against the expansive campsite overlooking Mount Asama, the camp fosters candid conversations that bring people closer together, enabling the building of genuine trust that cannot be achieved through pitch events alone—trust that will pave the way for future investment.

2. "Seizing Opportunities for Growth as a Leader."

   Through interactive sessions with top domestic leaders, speakers will reflect on their life journeys and share real-world insights gained from their personal experiences. Emphasis will be placed on two-way dialogue with participants, who will also be free to ask questions. Additional distinguished guest speakers will be announced in due course.

3. Active learning" in an overwhelming natural environment and with all five senses
   Set against the backdrop of Rising Field Karuizawa with views of Mount Asama, the program offers hands-on learning that goes far beyond theory. Participants will engage in team-based activities to tackle challenges, as well as the signature evening program “Maki-ttching”—gathering around a campfire for candid conversations. Through these immersive, multi-sensory experiences, participants will gain fresh insights and build strong bonds of trust with their peers.
